Dark Chocolate
If you are someone who loves and enjoys a chocolate bar on a daily basis, it is time for you to shift to dark chocolate and avoid milk chocolates. Dark chocolate is filled with antioxidants and it satisfies sugar cravings instead of causing your blood sugar to spike and crash. It is essential to lookout for options with high percentage of cocoa in your dark chocolate for optimal result. There are studies that show that dark chocolate may reduce cravings and promote feelings of fullness, which assists in weight loss.

Eat Proper Breakfast
Make it a habit to enjoy a fiber-and-protein-rich diet every morning to kick-start your metabolism and avoid mid-morning hunger pangs. Avoid Carbohydrates
Nutritionist all over the world would recommend people to avoid simple carbohydrates like white flour, white pasta, and white rice if you suffer from weight gain. This is because such carbs have sweetening properties and makes the body quickly break down these carbohydrates into sugar. This process causes a spike in blood sugar levels. To counter this, just replace these simple carbs with whole grain options like mentioned above.
